CAMAT 2018 BURSARY RECIPIENTS

Linda Boni is currently a 4th year student at Lakehead University completing the Honours Bachelor Environmental Management Program. Linda is an active student on campus belonging to the Lakehead University Sustainability Club and Lakehead University Rotary Club.

Linda has also volunteered within the community of Thunder Bay with different organizations like the Shelter House, EcoSuperior and the Thunder Bay Multicultural Association.

Once completing her ungraduated degree, Linda plans to continue following her educational goals with completing a Masters in Environmental Engineering and using her education to eventually open an educational institution in her home country.

 

Oluwaseun Ajose. Oluwaseun is currently a graduate student at Lakehead University in the Masters of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

 

Oluwaseun has given back to the University community through volunteering as an International Peer Mentor. He assisted new international students with their cultural and academic transition while hosting social events and providing ongoing assistance to students.

 

Oluwaseun has been involved in the Thunder Bay community through volunteering at different events like the Kite Festival, the Day of Caring, and with different organizations such as the Ministry of Education, and Shelter House Thunder Bay.

 

Oluwaseun’s career goals are to explore cutting edge technology in the optimization of energy systems to match global energy demand and boost the clean energy drive in West Africa.
